We were honored to display the significance of the Sun in our lives and its mythological tale through 3D projection mapping at Modhera Surya Mandir, one of the most stunning and ancient Sun Temples in India. The event was inaugurated by our Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
This temple is dedicated to Lord Surya and embodies both cultural and historical richness. It was constructed in the 11th century during the rule of Bhima I of the Chaulukya dynasty.
The objective of the project was to present captivating visuals on the 1100-year-old monument, covering a width of 180 feet and height of 60 feet, in a multilingual 20-minute show. The show will showcase the story of the sun, its mythological connection with various cultures around the world, the historical significance of the temple, and the importance of the site.
The site features a combination of the sun-dedicated temple and the serene Kund below, which previously only displayed the temple's beauty during the day, but now with the addition of the projection mapping show, it will also showcase its grandeur after dusk.
When it comes to gods and goddesses, we drew inspiration from the ancient art form of the region known as "Mata ni Pachedi". This style is traditionally used as a tapestry behind the deity statues in temples. We have incorporated this essence into our structure while maintaining a minimal color concept.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the 3D projection mapping of Modhera Surya Mandir and also witnessed a cultural event that showcased the history and splendor of the Surya Mandir.
